Serious-looking traffic incident involving two cars unfolded at a crossroads in Podzamcze. The aftermath of the collision required medical assistance for a 61-year-old woman.
On January 20th, just before 5 p.m., a truly concerning accident occurred. A 61-year-old woman from Szczawno-Zdrój, while exiting Basztowa Street in her car, failed to give way to a 20-year-old man from Wałbrzych who was driving another car along Podwale Avenue. This negligence on her part led to a collision between the two vehicles. Despite the serious look of the incident, medical help was extended to the woman, thankfully revealing no significant injuries.
Police officers confirmed that both drivers were sober at the time of the accident. They seized the registration documents of the damaged cars for further investigation. The woman, being responsible for the accident, was penalized with a fine amounting to PLN 1,500 and received ten penalty points on her driving license.
